A Win-Win Situation Between the Employer and the Employee Amidst Working from Home


In the world that will always grow smaller and more interconnected and even now that COVID - 19 has hit the rest of the world and making the workforce dispersing all over different locations across the globe. Now the only option for the working class is to be working remotely – WFH – So, Organizations must remember that failure to plan this very well may lead to a strong catastrophe.

To be able to cope with this habit, here are some tips to make you accustomed to working from home.

For the Employer

It would be the responsibility of the employer or the HR staff to see that the employee has the willingness and very good conditions in his/her sanctuary before working from home.

It would be very important for the employer to know that the employee is psychologically prepared for this.

There must be a system of checks and balances among the HR, boss, and the employee

For the Employee

During this transition, the employee should schedule a start and an end time for work.

After the normal early morning showers, get dressed – not necessary you put on a tie but you must look presentable – then start your daily activities.

Protect yourself from feeling lonely and isolated by taking 15 minutes-walk around. Do this daily.

Make WFH to be worthwhile and always demonstrate your willingness to be working from home as this could make your boss have trust in you.
