If people are able to sense how dedicated and loyal you are, what the leader believes in, your expectations, they will surely respond to all these and care as deeply as you do. Then, everything will be like a magnet. But when a leader arrives late at a scheduled meeting, and the second time he arrives late without making the people know “why” it is the responsibility of a leader to make people know that, “the deadline is real”.
There is no motivational speech for this, it is by example. It is a bidding obligation for everyone and this focuses people’s thinking. We don’t go on and on to work every day because we are ready or because we want, we go on because our appointment is at 9:00 am and there’s no getting out of it!
